Overview:

The safari visits four beautiful parks in Kenya. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and less commonly the Rhino. It also visits Lake Naivasha a fresh water lake where you take a boat ride to view the Hippos. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, 5895m Kilimanjaro, is one of the most popular of Kenya's national parks. Tsavo west national park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, buffalos, diverse plant and bird species.

Itinerary:

Nairobi - Maasai Mara :

On the day of your arrival, you will be met by our representative at the Airport where you shall be briefed about the safari. Depart Nairobi for a journey south along the floor of the great Rift Valley then past Narok climb the western wall entering Hemingway's country ''Serengeti plans''. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Early morning balloon safari is available as an option at USD 450 per person. The Balloon launches at 0600hrs and takes one hour. On landing you will be welcomed with a champagne bush breakfast. Full day game viewing whereby you leave the lodge after breakfast with picnic lunch.
Leave the lodge with picnic lunch for a full day game drive. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park – Morans (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day. Maasai Mara - Lake Naivasha:

Early morning game drive. Breakfast at the lodge/camp. Depart for Lake Naivasha with stop at Narok which is the Masai city. Arrive Naivasha in time for lunch. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus is almost 13 km's across, but its waters are shallow with an average depth of five metres. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo populations sleep the day out in the shallows. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon you proceed for a boat ride to view the hippos with an option to visit the Crescent Island (extra cost). The rest of the evening leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Lake Naivasha - Amboseli:

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and depart to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. Check in at the Camp/Lodge. Rest in the afternoon, in the evening enjoy game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

Amboseli National Park:

Early morning game drive with a big chance to view the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Rest of morning free with an option to visit the Masai Village (extra cost) Lunch at the camp. In evening game drive in the park in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Giraffe, lion, buffalo, cheetah, baboon, gazelle, hippo and wildebeest. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

Amboseli - Tsavo West National Park:

Breakfast at lodge/camp. Depart for Tsavo West National Park. The Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops. It’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. Other notable features include Mzima Springs which are water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption. The Movie Ghost and the Darkness was shot here. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Tsavo West - Nairobi:

Breakfast at the Lodge. Depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon. Lunch enroute. On arrival drop off at the Airport for final departure.
